How it works
What GrowthSync is, and what you actually do here
GrowthSync is a network of verified business owners. You are not here to collect contacts. You are here to meet the specific people who can move something forward: a supplier, a partner, a first customer, or someone who has already solved the thing that is blocking you. This page explains what the platform is for, who it is for, and what to do in your first week.
Who it is for
Founders, business owners and creators who are building something. Most people here run a company or are starting one, and they join because they want fewer, better conversations with people at a similar stage or a step ahead.
It is not a jobs board, and it is not a feed to shout into. If what you want is reach, this is the wrong place. If what you want is to be remembered by the right hundred people, it is the right one.
What you actually do here
Five things. Each one is something you do, and each one leads somewhere.
Swipe through business owners, not search results
Discover shows you one verified member at a time, matched on your industry, your goals and where you are based. You pass on the ones who are not relevant and connect with the ones who are.
You end up with a shortlist worth talking to, not a list of names.
Join the communities for your industry
Communities are grouped by industry and interest. You ask the thing you are stuck on, and people who have done it answer. That is a different thing from posting into a feed and hoping.
The answer usually comes from someone who has already solved it.
Go to events other members host, or host one yourself
Events are put on by members: workshops, roundtables, dinners, online sessions. Any member can host one free event a month, and you can sell tickets if you want to.
You do not need an audience to fill an event. You need the right twelve people.
Post what you actually need
Opportunities is where members say what they are looking for: a co-founder, a supplier, a partner, or someone to take work off their hands. Most of it is never advertised anywhere else.
Work and partnerships that never reach the open market.
Keep turning up, and it compounds
Your profile gets a strength score, and turning up consistently earns XP and builds a streak. It sounds small. It is really how the people who show up end up being the people who get seen.
A stronger profile means better matches and more people reaching out to you.
Your first week
Three things, in order. About twenty minutes in total.
Finish your profile properly
Say what you are building and what you need right now. A vague profile gets vague matches, and the score at the top tells you what is still missing.
Go through Discover once a day
Ten minutes. Connect with anyone you would genuinely take a call with, and send a first message that says why.
Join two communities and book one event
Pick your industry and one thing you want to get better at. Then book onto an event, because one evening face to face does more than a month of messages.
Start with your profile
It is free to join, every member is verified, and you can be set up in a few minutes.
