A network is only as good as who is allowed in it.
Every rule below exists to protect the same thing: that a message here is worth opening. Most of them cost us signups, deliberately.
Verification before you can participate
You confirm your email address and your date of birth before you can connect, message, post in a community or book an event. Browsing is open. Taking part is not.
Mutual consent before any message
Nobody can message you until you have both accepted. There is no way to pay to skip it, and no inbox full of pitches from people you never agreed to hear from.
Blocking and reporting from anywhere
Report a profile, a post, an event or a message from where you are standing. A blocked member can no longer see or contact you.
Moderation on what gets posted
Keyword moderation runs across community posts, and reports are reviewed by a person. Accounts that abuse the network lose it.
Your data
We hold as little as we can, and you can take it back.
GrowthSync is operated by GrowthSync Network Ltd, registered in England and Wales, and is subject to UK data protection law.
- You can export what we hold and delete your account at any time, from settings
- Deleting the account removes your profile, your posts and your messages, not just your login
- Nothing is sold to advertisers, and there is no advertising in the product
- Analytics only run after you agree to them, and the site works fully if you say no
- Payments are handled by Stripe, and card details never reach GrowthSync
Under 18s
GrowthSync is for adults running businesses.
Accounts are for people aged 18 and over, which is why date of birth is part of verification. Our child safety standards, and how to report a concern, are published in full.
